Cookie policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Arkitekto uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at arkitekto.review.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience.
Types of cookies we use
Essential cookies (Required)
These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function. They enable core functionality like authentication, session management, and secure access to your account. The website cannot function properly without these cookies, and they cannot be disabled.
Functionality cookies
These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your study preferences, theme settings, and onboarding progress.
Ad measurement cookies
These cookies tell us which ad, post, or website brought you to Arkitekto, and let Meta (Facebook and Instagram) report whether our ads led to a sign-up or a purchase. They do not affect how the site works for you.
Cookies we use
| Cookie name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase authentication session token. Maintains your login state and securely identifies your account. | Essential | Session / 1 year |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | PKCE code verifier used during the authentication flow to prevent authorization code interception attacks. | Essential | Session |
ark_attr | Set by us on your first visit from an ad or another website. Holds the campaign tags in the link (utm values), any Facebook or Google click ID, the name of the website that sent you (not the full address), the first page you landed on, and the time. We save it with your account when you sign up. Not readable by scripts. | Ad measurement | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta click ID. Set when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad link, and holds the click ID from that link and the time. Sent to Meta with sign-up and purchase events. | Ad measurement | 90 days |
_fbp | Meta browser ID, set by the Meta Pixel. Holds a random number that identifies this browser to Meta, and the time it was created. | Ad measurement | 90 days |
The * in cookie names represents your project-specific identifier assigned by our authentication provider (Supabase).
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services that may set cookies or process data:
- Supabase: Authentication and database services. Sets authentication cookies listed above.
- Vercel: Website hosting. May set technical cookies for load balancing and performance optimization.
- YouTube: Video embeds using privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may set cookies when you play an embedded video.
- Self-hosted fonts: All typefaces are served directly from our own domain. No third-party font services are used.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure our ads. The pixel loads from connect.facebook.net, sets the
_fbpcookie, and reports page views. When you sign up or buy Pro, our server sends Meta a hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address and of your account ID, plus the_fbcand_fbpvalues. The pixel is not loaded on admin pages.
We do not use any other third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
Managing cookies
Blocking the essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using Arkitekto. You can block or delete the ad measurement cookies (ark_attr, _fbc, _fbp) without affecting the site. You can also manage how Meta uses data for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and data stored
Please note that clearing or blocking cookies will sign you out and may affect your ability to use our services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we introduce new types of cookies (such as analytics or marketing cookies), we will update this page and notify you before they are set. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
